The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God, revealed to us in three separate Persons that while separate, are yet one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 48:16, 61:1; Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2).

Our Father

We believe in God the Father, the Creator and Sustainer of all things (Genesis 1:1). He knows all (Psalm 139:1-6, 13-16). He is present in all (Psalm 139:7-12). And He holds all power (Isaiah 40:21-26). He is the instigator of our redemption, as He sent His Son for us (John 3:16). He has become our Father through Christ, Who made it possible for the Father to adopt us as His own (Malachi 2:10; Galatians 4:4-5).



Jesus Christ, Son of God

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God (John 1:1-2, 14) who is our mediator (I Timothy 2:5) at the Father's right hand (Acts 2:33; Hebrews 12:2). He was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:34-35). He is all God and all Man (Colossians 2:9). He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15). He died on the cross and bore our sins, accomplishing our redemption (I Peter 2:24). He arose from the dead, defeating death, hell, and the grave (Matthew 28:5-6; Revelation 1:18). He ascended to the Father after His resurrection (Luke 24:51; Acts 1:9). He will call His Bride, the Church to Himself in the Father’s perfect time (I Thessalonians 4:13-18). He will return to the earth with His Bride to establish His earthly kingdom (Zechariah 14:4; Matthew 24:29-30). Through His life, death, and resurrection, He has provided Himself as a way of Salvation for all mankind, and He is the only Way (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:24-25; Ephesians 1:7).

The Holy Spirit Of God

We believe in the Holy Spirit of God. He testifies to our spirits, directing and redirecting us always to Jesus. He teaches us the truth about God. He comforts and indwells us constantly after we have been born again. And He convicts sinners of sin so that He may draw them to Christ (Genesis 1:2; John 16:13; I Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:14-16).

Sin

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but God gave man free will and he used it to disobey God. This disobedience to God’s will, or sin, corrupted the nature of all mankind. This sin separates us from God and results in death. Every person inherits a sinful nature from his or her earthly father and every person needs salvation (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans: 3:22-23; Ephesians 2:1-12).

​​Salvation​

We believe the words which Jesus spoke to Nicodemus apply just as much to each of us today: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3b. All who believe in Jesus are justified on the ground of His shed blood. We are saved by grace alone, not by works, and if any man be in Christ he is a new creature. Salvation is entirely the work of God. All we must do is receive Him by faith (John 3:3; II Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 2:13; I John 5:1).

Eternally His (Eternal Security)

We believe that just as it is entirely the work of God to save us, so it is entirely the work of God to keep us. If one has been born again, there is no way to be un-born again. (John 5:24, 6:37-47, 10:27-30; Romans 8:38-39; I Corinthians 1:4-8; Ephesians 1:13-14; Hebrews 7:25; I John 2:19). In order to be born again, one must have faith of a certain quality. An emotional response is not enough. In order to be born again, one must have an abiding faith that would never turn away from the Lord. Such a faith produces works. That is not to say that a person may not rebel and live in sin, but it is to say that though we may turn our backs on Him from time to time, our hearts can never turn entirely away (James 2:14-26; II Peter 1:10; I John 2:3-5). “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6.
 

The Bible​

We believe that God inspired the men who wrote the Bible. The truths contained in the Scriptures were not the ideas of the men who wrote them, but were revealed to them by the Holy Spirit of God. The truths contained in the Scriptures have also been preserved over time by the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the Scriptures is to reveal Jesus to us, as Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21).

The Church

We believe that the Church is the Body and Bride of Christ, and that all born-again believers make up this Body. This Body crosses denominational and theological lines. It is composed of a group of people only known to God, because only He can see into and judge the hearts of mankind (I Samuel 16:7; Jeremiah 17:10; Galatians 3:27-29; I Corinthians 12:12-14).

 Heaven and Hell

We believe in the resurrection of the dead; the born again will be raised up for eternal life with God in Heaven (John 14:2-3; I Corinthians 2:7-9; Philippians 3:20-21) and those who have rejected the love of God will be resurrected to the second death in the lake of fire (Matthew 10:28; Revelation 20:14-15).
